Infrastructure

BWIR has an excellent network of computers with leased line link facilities, which connect us to a WAN comprising our group companies in 15 different locations in the US and our international offices in Germany, Singapore and Spain. Inspection of incoming products is conducted using different types of measuring equipment at BWIR.

Material Testing / Reliability Proving Facility

Materials of international standards are tested, and equal, equivalent standards are identified and sourced for some of our manufactured and bought-out products/items. The testing is done through the facilities in and around Chennai, India, with reference to international standards. Reliability tests are done by devising the requirement and testing it to failure. Based on these results, the life of the component is fixed. The tests are also used to improve the life of the products.

Quality Management

This is achieved through Process standardization, statistical process controls, sampling plan as per ANSI, Seven QC tools, Kaizen and TQM approach to name a few.

Vendor Base

Over a hundred vendors are part of our vendor database that has gone through the minute scrutiny of the assessment of our team.

Product Range

The current product range includes manufactured and bought out items like the knife blades, slitter tooling, scorer tooling, different plastic, nylon, rubber and polyurethane products, felts, abrasive wheels, fabricated products, CNC machined precision components, small sub assemblies, bearings, sprockets, belts, chains, fasteners, special pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders, gear boxes, tools for the corrugated machinery, electronic components, and springs.
