BWIR Group Executive and Barry-Wehmiller Companies, Inc. CIO
Craig is a 30+ year veteran in the IT arena, supporting manufacturing companies. He is responsible for the business strategy and overall direction of BWIR. In addition, he's also the CIO of Barry-Wehmiller Companies, Inc., overseeing the technology direction of a diversified company with a compounded annual growth rate of 20 percent since 1987 through organic growth and acquisitions. Craig's education includes a BA in Business Management from St. Ambrose University in Iowa
 Vasant Bennett
President & Managing Partner
Vasant is the founder of the company that evolved into Barry-Wehmiller International Resources in 1994. With the acquisition of the company by Barry-Wehmiller Companies, Inc. in 2000, Vasant launched a program to market IT and Engineering services to third-party customers around the globe. Vasant is currently involved in team and culture building, strategic direction and alliances, and various operations and sales initiatives. His prior experience included working as an Assistant Professor of Information Systems in the University of Wisconsin - Superior and as a Systems Analyst for Marquip, Inc. in Phillips, WI. Vasant holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Annamalai University in India and an MBA from Tennessee Technological University.
James (Jim) Webb
Vice President & Partner - Professional Services
Jim manages BWIR's western hemisphere and European sales and marketing services for Enterprise Systems, Engineering and Software divisions. He is responsible for all major accounts and new business development. Jim brings over 25 years of experience in senior executive positions. He has worked with some of the largest consulting companies such as Jacobs Engineering, Memorex, CIBER and others working with world-wide customers to provide technology solutions. Prior to his work in the technology realm, he was a Chief of Staff for the US Congress.
 Senthil Kumar
Vice President & Partner - Operations
Senthil heads the overall operations in India and is part of the senior management of BWIR. He built the BWIR operations in India as the General Manager between 1995 and 2003. He followed this up with a 2 year stint between 2003 and 2005 in a sales, marketing and senior management role at the BWIR headquarters in St. Louis, MO. He comes to BWIR with 19 years of experience in various sales and marketing positions with an engineering focus. Senthil holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Annamalai University and an MBA from the University of Madras.
Balachandran (Bala) Anantharama
Director, Enterprise Solutions & IT Services
Leveraging on his 22 years experience in business leadership, operations and sales and marketing, Balachandran (Bala) Anantharama, comes to BWIR as the Director of IT and Enterprise Solutions Services, based in St. Louis, Mo, USA. Prior to joining BWIR, Bala was with Datastream Systems Inc., (Market Leaders in Enterprise Asset Management Systems) based in Singapore responsible for the South Asian Region, as the Business Development Director. Bala's Enterprise Solutions & IT Consulting experience includes leadership roles in companies that were pioneers in the Enterprise Solutions space and has helped more than 150 companies in their Enterprise Solutions Implementations by providing consulting and professional services frameworks. He also has worked closely with technology providers such as IBM, HP , Microsoft and Oracle in the Asia Pacific Region. His experience in MNC's like Philips Electronics, in Supply Chain Management, Strategic Planning and Sales and Marketing has helped him to build domain expertise and add value to the Manufacturing & Distribution Industry. He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the California State University, East Bay, Silicon Valley, USA
 Mark Parlette
Director, Engineering Services
With over 20 years of CAD/CAM software sales experience in the manufacturing sector of the American market, Mark Andrew Parlette makes his entry to BWIR as Director - Engineering Services. An additional 6 years in engineering and software development has strengthened his expertise in this field. He has been instrumental in starting companies in diverse fields including software development, CAD CAM software sales, and a biotechnology device manufacturing company. The success of this veteran in the IT sector can be attributed to his entrepreneurial spirit.
Ramesh Santhanam
General Manager - Quality and Process Group
Ramesh heads the Quality and Process Group integrated with the three delivery organizations of BWIR - Information Technologies, Engineering and Enterprise Solutions. He is also responsible for multiple strategic initiatives across the company. Prior to joining BWIR in 1998, Ramesh worked for a leading auto parts manufacturing division as the head of manufacturing. He has played a key role in ISO initiatives throughout his career. His education includes a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Madras.
 Sridharan Balaiyan
Partner & Director - Engineering Services
Sridharan manages the fast-growing Engineering Services Division of BWIR. His responsibilities include project management and delivery, resource and infrastructure planning, quality process implementation, and business development support.
He was instrumental in developing this practice for BWIR since 1996 and today he has developed a strong base on engineering services catering for the domains like industrial machinery, consumer durables and medical equipment& devices manufacturing. He has also established various engineering services across all domains. Sridharan holds a bachelors degree in engineering and a postgraduate diploma in business administration. His previous work experience includes specialization in all stages from conceptualization to commissioning in the material handling and packaging machinery manufacturing industry.
Ivy John
Director - Information Technology
Ivy comes to BWIR with 18+ years of executive experience in products and services companies. She is the head for the software team and is responsible overall for custom application development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise solutions, web development, and legacy system development and maintenance in the areas of Microsoft Technologies, iSeries, IBM WebSphere - Java, Open Source - Java and Macromedia ColdFusion. She has developed and shaped start-up companies into industry level behemoths, managing engineers ranging from 10 to 200 for European and North American principals. Ivy has established Vertical Practices (Electronics Design Automation, Automotive and Avionics Systems, and Banking Finance Insurance and Securities). She has been responsible for product and business model conception, technology roadmap, resource allocation, coaching and mentoring high performing teams. She has built and managed many world-class teams that have successfully delivered state-of-the art code in BFIS, EDA, Avionics and Automotive systems. She successfully managed all phases of software development life cycle including but not limited to: Pre-sales, account management, up sales, design, implementation, test, documentation and program management.
 Praveen Rudraradhya
Director - Enterprise Solutions
Praveen is a post-graduate engineer having over 13+ years of industry experience with strong functional experience in the manufacturing domain and in IT focusing on delivery of ERP Solutions to the Manufacturing domain. He has handled various functions like Product Planning & Procurement, New Product Development and enterprise wide IT Initiatives like ERP and PLM. He has worked on multiple ERP Solutions / Extended Enterprise Solutions work environment especially during various phases of Life Cycle Management such as Requirements & Analysis, Design & Construction, and Implementation & Support. He currently heads the Enterprise Solutions Group at BWIR driving the group's business initiatives, managing the practice with implementation of projects and to bridge technology and business goals to provide productive solutions. He has demonstrated success leading and mentoring cross-functional teams / Project & Technology Management, Process Engineering and Business analysis. He is a lead practitioner of ISO 9001 / Other QM standards and is a certified Business Excellence Assessor.
Manojnaik Harischandra
Head - Mumbai Operations
Manoj heads BWIR's Mumbai operations, with his primary responsibility being profit centre management. With 15 years of experience with companies such as Supreme Industries, Cable Corporation of India, Thruput Technology India, and Infinit-e Solutions, his field of specialization includes enterprise applications, including Enterprise Resource planning and Supply Chain Management project management. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a Master's degree in Business Administration.
Balachandran Venkataraman
Director - Sales (Asia Pacific)
Balan has 20 years of experience working with companies such as Infinit-e Solutions, IeS Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Intentia South Asia, USV, Quadrant Fine Chemicals, Lawande Pharmaceuticals, L&T, and NOCIL. At BWIR, he is in charge of Sales for the Asia Pacific region. He specializes in providing enterprise solutions to manufacturing organizations. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Technology and a Masters in Management Studies.
 Rajmohan Madhusoodanan
Practice Head - Global Marketing
Rajmohan holds post graduate degrees in Economics and Management. He has 11 years of experience in marketing and sales in IT and ITES. He started his career in software sales for the Asian and African market. For the past four years he has been focusing on the North American market. He has worked in different industry practices such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, finance, telecom and manufacturing. In BWIR, Raj manages the global marketing support services from Chennai to all the overseas offices.
Venkateswaran, Gopalakrishnan
Director - Finance
Venkat is the Financial Controller for BWIR, Chennai and his responsibilities include profitability focus, cost control and internal controls. With over 15 years of experience working for companies in the IT and automobile manufacturing sector, he specializes in finance and accounting. He holds a bachelor degree in Mathematics, and is a CA and ACS.
 Jothi Prakash
Practice Head - HR
Jothi Prakash (JP) heads the HR function at BWIR. His responsibilities include the entire gamut of all the strategic functions of HR comprising Culture Building, Organizational Development, Strategic People Practices & Processes; as well as to facilitate continual reengineering of work processes to improve efficiency at work. Coming with a wide range of experience in handling the human resources function, JP has a Masters from the Madras School of Social Work, and an M.B.A-HR from the Southern New Hampshire University, USA.
Krishnakumar Krishnan
Practice Head - KM & MM
Krishnakumar Krishnan (KK) heads the Knowledge Management and Multimedia Services group at BWIR. He is responsible for delivery, program management and account management. He has 18+ years experience. Prior to joining BWIR in 1996, he has worked for companies specializing in graphic design, advertising, book publishing and data management.
He specializes in visualization and instructional design to develop manuals and eLearning material. He also has rich experience in developing diagnostic expert systems to support troubleshooting machine problems. He holds a bachelors degree in Commerce and Accounting.
