Product Design and Support
 There are two ways that companies can win when they develop new products. One is to do the project right and the other is to do the right project. BWIR, with its ability to support product development companies from conceptualization to prototyping, assures the product is done right. With constant demand for shorter lifecycles, the need for product innovation has never been greater. BWIR promotes innovation with its strong skills in concept design, engineering design and computer-aided engineering that shortens the product life cycle and the time to market. The key focus of our design team is "design for manufacturability". Our knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes helps conceptualize the manufacturing method even before we start the design activity.
Conceptualization
BWIR uses a well-structured product design methodology. We gather information relating to the new product and establish the critical factors for the product design.Based on customer requirements, BWIR can provide various concepts of the product for the customer to select from.We can also work from industrial design data provided by the customer.BWIR engineers work closely with the customer to understand the requirements and suggest suitable options to finalize the concept design of the product.
Engineering Design
BWIR with its strong technical team performs all necessary design activities to ensure that the product meets its functional requirements. Our team of engineers is conversant with various design standards required by our customers.
Modeling
Based on the engineering and industrial design, BWIR develops 3D CAD models and necessary 2D drawings using industry leading CAD tools.
Design Analysis
BWIR analyzes product components and assemblies using analysis tools to validate their performance in real world conditions. We perform finite element analysis (FEA) on critical components to optimize design. All assemblies with moving parts are analyzed for dynamic loading and for fits and tolerances.
Prototype
BWIR can develop prototypes of new products for visualization and functional tests.
CAD Tools
We use industry leading CAD software for our Design and Development activities.

- 2D CAD Tools: AutoCAD, Personal Designer
- Analysis Tools: Ansys, Cosmos, Algor, Nastran.
